GEORGE GURNETT led the singing of the National Anthem. ERNIE ALTVATER led the Pledge to the Flag, followed by the booming voice of REV. JAMES PARKER, who gave the invocation. TEX WILLIAMS' Thought for the day:
Hard work never killed a man, but it sure has scared a lot of them.
PREZ. JOEL fined latecomer MIKE TANAKA $5.00, but missed DICK BISHOP.
The Par Busters, George Bishop, Carl Johnson and Bill Matthews were playing golf, but ELTON CHATFIELD, who usually plays with them refused to play, because he did not want to miss KIWANIS, and the PREZ fined him anyway, but somehow I think ELTON got JOHN MORDOFF to pay his fine and add five more for $10.00 Total. VJ MAC won the pot for the second week in a row, and pulled the ace of spades, and won $60.00, and never got fined anything.

TODAYS' guest speaker was CHARLES GUSTAFSON, a psychotherapst, whose office is located at 599 S. Barranca, Covina, who spoke on the trials and tribulations of getting his education, and how we developed from a baby to an adult. He said the Freud was the first to discuss the "Splitting of Personalities". I think we probably could all use a little
therapy from time to time.
