Guests included: Stan Stamper who was Ken Miller's first business partner. Carol Scanlan had as guest Steve Sherman, who showed an interest in membership. We had a proud grandfather in Ken Miller, who announced his grandson just got his real estate license. The big announcement of the meeting was the nomination and election of Elton Chatfield for 2nd vice president. He was unanimously approved. Our Clubs installation is coming up on September 17. Remember to make your reservations. The guest speaker was Scott Kelly, who is Director of Communication and Guest Affairs for the L.A. County Fair in Pomona.. The Fair runs from September 5th to 28th. It sounds like a great event and one that should not be missed. Special pricing after 5pm and fun for the whole family. Scott made a special note about the great variety of food and entertainment available. Special note: my wife and I go every year just for a cinnamon roll.
