A NEW REGIME WAS USHERED IN TODAY WITH PRESIDENT COOKIE
FORD BANGING ON A BRIGHT SHINEY BELL, AND THEN BEGGED, WHINED
AND WIMPERED TO GET MAC MC ALPIN TO LEAD THE PATRIOTIC SONG,
JOHN MORDOFF TO LEAD THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND THEN TEX
WILLIAMS AND BILL MATTHEWS WASN'T SURE WHO WAS TO GO NEXT,
BUT FINALLY TEX WON OUT AND SAID THE THOUGHT FOR THE DAY, AND
BILL FINALLY GAVE THE INVOCATION.
THOUGHT - DISCONTENT IS THE PRICE WE PAY FOR NOT BEING
THANKFUL FOR WHAT WE HAVE.

There were a bunch of signs stuck around the room about the new FORD - some were
flattering and some were not, but the bell has not looked so pretty in about 35 years, when
a wee Scotsman shined it up, or was that the Wembley tie salesman who applied the spit.

GEORGE BISHOP brought a box of cookies, which he claimed he baked, and then said
that IRIS had baked them, and finally admitted that he bought them- but they were good.
ANITA WHITE paid $5.00 for being an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, and
getting her picture in the paper. KENNY MILLER paid $20.00 for MONTY'S birthday,
and said she was feeling better after her sick spell. JOEL BEEZY paid a total of $2.00,
but got a lot of words in for being late and stating that his wife had a new job, and that he
was working on another CLIPPERNIGHT where DONALD STERLING will donate a few
hundred seats that we can pass out to our key clubbers, or any other group we designate.
CAROL SCANLAN donated $11.00 for her 11 tb wedding anniversary. TOM PALMERI
paid $5.00 because his son got a job.
JOYCE CHAPMAN paid $5.00 for nice COZY installation that ELTON CHATFIELD
put on at the SOUTH HILLS COUNTRY CLUB last Friday. The whole club
thanks you ELTON - BUT A MONTH IN HAWAII- WOW-EE HULA BOY!!!
The speaker today was GARY WILSON of the CRTC (Community Rehabilitation
Training Center), which is located at 536 N. Vincent, Covina, Ca. It was founded in
1965, and offers comprehensive employment and training services to persons with
disabilities by providing work based programs that maximize social and vocational
potentials. The organization funnels hundreds of thousands of dollars into the local
economy annually. The production includes shrink wrapping, heat sealing, assembly,
collating, bagging, pallet wrap, power glue gun and other packaging problems.
