Club Bulletin
SOUTH HILLS KIWANIS BULLETIN 4/7/11
I, GEORGE BISHOP, your erstwile reporter, hereby solemnly declare:
My conputer decided to take a rest so this is what you get for today, because I am doing the
bulletin for MAC, whose eyesight is somewhat blurred to say the least.
However, Mr. McAlpin did lead the group in a rousing rendition of the natlonal
anthem, "The Star Spangled Barmer", and everyone present sang it with MAC.
I must have forgot who led the Pledge to the Flag, because I did not put it nown
for Mac to type, and neither did Mac.
I also do not remember who gave the Invocation, and neither does Mac.
TEX WILLIAMS' Thought For the Day: was a quote from David J. Brewer:
"The American mission from its first settlement at Jamestown to this hour is based and
permeated by the principles of the Bible."
PREZ. CHATFIELD REMINDED US TO SELL OUR 20 Pancake Breakfast Tickets, and
then bragged about having sold at least 30 to the Sunrise Rotary Club during a visit with
them (smart alec.)

Our Speaker was Angie Seaman, a new first year teacher at Covina High School, and the F.F.A.
She presented a very good summary of the F.F.A activities. The school program is in very
responslble hands. She wlll help us with our Pancake Breakfast, and Kowchip Bingo
She has worked with the F.F.A. for 15 years. She started when she was only 15 years old.
A good information program and an excellent speaker.
