a wide selection of colleges that he can choose from; MARIE PALMERI, Tom's wife,

Additional Pancake Breakfast tickets were passed out, which makes 30 altogether, but
you only have to sell/buy/or give away 20. VJ MAC gave a little sales pitch to JOYCE CHAPMAN, who said she just buys 20 tickets, and MAC told her how to sell 20 or 30.

COOKIE paid $5.00 for being late, and JOYCE CHAPMAN paid an extra for the great
Cordan Bleu. TOM PALMERI has been working hard recently, and his sad tale of
woe brought tears to Prez. Don's eyes. So, TOM caught up for all the meetings he has
missed, and gave a check for all of his Pancake Breakfast tickets, which was a $100.00
or more, plus another $100, and he filled out the papers for the state for the Kiwanis
Foundation, which any attorney would charge $200.00. I am not sure, but he may have
given some mote money. I hope that our recorder got it all down.
KEN MILLER had the winner for the Pot, and drew the ACE of Spades and won $50.00.
ROGER POSSNER of the Covina Library was prepared to present a slide /video about
the Covina Library, but there was a technical failure. However, he said the Covina
Library was no longer in danger of closing due to lack of funds. LILY JIMENEZ spoke
about a Tutoring program. About the only thing I caught was that there were 18 Tutors
who volunteer their time.
Maybe someone else ought to write a summary of what the speakers say, because this
old man cannot hear very well.
