Business Session: The Prez. Tried to fine McAlpin for missing the Board Meeting on June 9, and for his 25th wedding anniversary, but MAC had an excuse for Monday, (his wife was sick), and nothing for the wedding anniversary, because Mac has the NO FINE BADGE for the month of June.

GEORGE GURNETT paid $20.00 for ROBERTA'S birthday. BILL MATTHEWS
kicked in $5.00 for forgetting the Board meeting, and other than that, "Wimpy Mumbles" ANDREWS could not get into the pockets of those present.
STEVE SHERMAN won the pot - again- but not sure how much.

Elton Chatfield introduced Carolyn Laskowsky of the Los Angeles Zoo, who presented a slide show of some of the animals at the zoo, which includes elephants, a zebra, some of our primate cousins, including chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, lions, tigers, cheetas, and a multitude of birds. The Los Angeles Zoo is owned and operated by the City of Los Angeles, and the entire Zoo, its land and facilities and the animals, maintenance, construction, education and staff are city employees.
The Zoo is a non-profit organization, and does accept gifts and sponsors.
