1. Mac's wife Inez has some serious medical concerns. Please pray for a full recovery.
Guests:
1. The Kiwaniannes of Glendora graced us with a five-member interclub. Club president
Tricia Gomer introduced Past Div. 35 Lt. Gov. Rona Lunde, Pat, Mary Jane, and
Ziggy.
2. Covina High School Future Farmers of America Advisor, Mrs. Virginia Deweir
introduced five student members: Ashley, Erica, MicheUe, Veronica, and Cindy.
Announcements:
1. Covina is collecting electronic waste on Friday, June 19th and Sat, June 20th at the
Home Depot parking lot by the Covina Bowl.
2. South Hills Kiwanis will be the "Host" club at the July 16th Division Council
Meeting. Please remember that we are now collecting "White Elephant" gifts or
new $10.00 gifts for the Division fundraiser for that date.
3. SHK will have a BBQ on Thursday, July 23rd at the Covina Park.
4. Please call Cookie Ford (626) 919-t589 if you want to go to the In The Mood
theater show on Thursday, Aug. 11th. There are very few $35.00 tickets left.

1. Thursday, June 25th to Sunday, June 28th Kiwanis International Convention in
Nashville Tenn.
2. Thursday, Aug. 13th to Saturday, Aug. 15th CalNevHa Convention in San Diego.
Fines: Elton paid $100.00 for his grandson's acceptance to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He
will be a member of the wrestling team, while he studies there. Congratulations!
Steve Sherman bragged about his 66th something, and paid $22.00.
Drawing: Cookie Ford drew a ten of something and won $10.00! Congratulations!
Program: FFA advisor Mrs. Deweir spoke on the FFA program at Covina High School
Finance is a big challenge for the program. Some students work very hard and gain very
little income after the sale of their animal. An "Add - On" gift to deserving students helps
them realize a monetary gain. SHK presented a check for $500.00 to +Mrs. Deweir.
