BISHOP led the Pledge to the Flag. BILL MATTHEWS gave the invocation and
TEX WILLIAMS' Thought For the Day is a quote from Indiana governor,
Mitch Daniels, who said: " Don't point a finger. Lend a hand, and we will say
Thank You."

One ticket mandatory. Price is not set - but in the $35-40.00 range.
STEVE SHERMAN won the pot - again - $10.00. JOYCE CHAPMAN paid $5.00
(because our Prez is so ugly - (her words). No other fines that I could hear.
HARRY ANDERSON told about his vacation with his family that covered quite a lot of
territory starting at the PEEK N' PEAK RESORT in New York, which was a friendly
hospitable place with good food at reasonable prices. Then they went to New York City
and rode the subway from Penn Station to Penn Station (??); then they went to Niagara
Falls, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Harrisburg,Pa., Hershey, Pa., Gettysburg, Washington, D.C., Baltimore and back home. Sounds like a Century Note to me, but HARRY has
already paid $50.00, plus his son in law got a hole in one. Good trip, Harry, and a
real bargain.
ANITA WHITE said we have a lack of funds in the City of Covina due to lack of sales
tax, and other reasons, which curtails some of our programs for young people.
STEVE SHERMAN said that Covina has no gangs. We may have some members of
gangs, who live here, but there are no gangs.
