GLORIA FREET is still recuperating, and so this group of old codgers had to put up with the Southern Illinois Hill-billy leading the group in the singing of "GOD BLESS AMERICA" without the assistance of an accompaniest.
After HARRY ANDERSON straightened out the flag standing in the corner,
JACK FIELDING led the Pledge to that Old Glory.
DON ANDREWS gave the invocation, and then TEX WILLIAMS gave a
rather cryptic Thought For the Day:
"Whatever you can do or dream you can do, begin it with
Boldness, which has genius and magic power in it."
