Clippers Game 1-20-10:

South Hills Kiwanis Club of Covina, on January 20, 2010, held its fourth annual basketball outing for local youth in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys.  The benefit was co-sponsored by South Hills Kiwanis, The Donald Sterling Charitable Foundation and Hafif Family Foundation.  Four hundred and fifty students where invited to attend.  Participating groups included Key Clubs in the Covina area, Boys and Girls of Pomona, Packs and Troops from the California Inland Empire Council Boy Scouts of America, teachers and students from the Pomona Unified School District and American Youth Soccer Organization from the Ontario-Upland area.  Chairing the event was Joel Beezy along with Harry Anderson, Sponsored Youth Chair and George Bishop, Club Secretary.
